Trion just released a new video dev diary for it’s upcoming shooter-MMO/television tie-in game Defiance. The devs talk about bringing new elements to the shooter genre, and showcase some of the in-game vehicles and their abilities. But you don’t need me to tell you what’s in the vid, you can watch it for yourself below:
Defiance is scheduled for game and television launch in 2013.

Well That Only Took Four Years
Tawyn, Hunter #1, has been making the rounds on and off for years and nothing.
Lunapike, Hunter #2, has been making the rounds on and off for years and nothing.
But today I was doing panda quests on Tawyn and I thought “Huh, Hunter #3 is my cat collector. I should send him up to Sholazar and see what happens.”
And so it came to pass that Althalor, Hunter #3, snagged Loque on his very first tiptoe into Sholazar Basin. Lucky SOB.

I say “returning” but the fact is I never really left, not in the sense of unsubscribing at least (I wonder how much money subscription games make out of people not bothering to cancel their sub?). Torchligh 2 is better than Diablo 3. There, I’ve said it. And yes, I know it’s not professional to compared games to each like that but considering I’m just a hobbyist blogger, I figured I can get away with it. So I’ll say this: Torchlight 2 is everything I hoped Diablo 3 was going to be.
This isn’t to say that D3 was a bad game ’cause it wasn’t. It was good, very good in fact, b
