Today is Halloween in the physical world and also the last day of Hallow's End in Azeroth. There is just no escape from costumes and candy, no matter where you go. For me, that's a good thing. The New Water Effects
So with the new water effects being in place I have a new favourite thing to do with my free time. I go to Grizzly Hills in addition to still doing my pointless fishing to try and get myself a Sea Turtle mount I head to the logging camp where I do one of the most fun but unknown things in all of WoW. If you don't know what I am speaking about it is none other than "The Log Ride". This is where the NPC gives you a log to ride all the way from the logging camp to Venture Bay. You fly over the wate

BlizzCon 2010 exclusive pet Deathy still has no custom emotes and sounds
Deathy the murloc, BlizzCon 2010's exclusive companion pet, is currently without his own animation set. At this point in time, Deathy occasionally will make the rifle sounds that Grunty, his space-faring murloc counterpart, usually makes. In addition, his sound emotes are the same as Grunty, and some of his animations include those of the murloc suit.

As this post is likely to be deliberately misinterpreted by a certain brand of troll, let me start with this statement: I am very much in favor of Cataclysm making World of Warcraft harder. I specifically like the changes that make healing more tactical, where the healer has to make intelligent choices not only who to heal, but also which spell to heal with. Okay I’ve played around with Beast Mastery a bit in heroics and stuff and I have some tips for it. Note that this is not a comprehensive guide and I haven’t done any rooting around EJ or any real math or anything.
OVERVIEW:
Beast Mastery is now providing a very different playstyle than it has in the past. See, we used to be all about burst. Now, we’re all about ramping up. Your AoE damage is gonna suck now that we’ve lost Volley and MultiShot is expensive, focus-wise.

Fallout Online release in 2012
Interplay announced that the controversial Fallout Online MMO game will launch sometime during the second half of 2012. Eric Caen, Interplay’s president, said this much to Edge. The Beta is also scheduled for 2012.According to Eric Caen, there are 90 people working on Fallout Online, and the game seems to finally be advancing. Raiding A Success?
So yesterday we went into ICC and despite all the changes that everyone has gone through with all the class and spec differences, and not to mention people being completely bored with content we had a successful raid. We were not only able to raid, but we were able to complete heroic modes as if the patch really never happened. 50% Resilience Buff Ruins 4.0: Blizzard Comes To The Rescue, Rogue Still Needs Tweaks For Cataclysm, MLG Not Done With WOW Arena
Duels over the last a few days in 4.0 haven't been fun as a rogue. With run of the mill 1200 resilience characters, everyone had 50% damage reduction, throw in armor and defensive talents, I was ambushing warlocks and shadow priests for 3500. And this is not even against people who really abused resilience and took 1700+ to get 80% damage reduction before armor/soul link/shadow form. So I know many classes have changed completely, and everyone has to relearn their classes. After playing Arms yesterday I realized how much I missed it. I was never a fan of dual wield even if I had the giant two handers. Maybe it is just my play style. A Fury Warrior is supposed to be reckless and a raging berzerker. Now not that this isn't fun to do once in awhile, but it really came down to just an ADD type DPS where you are just mashing buttons and saying "I am awesome I have two two handers!".
