NCSoft has announced a partnership with Gameforge to bring MMO Aion Online to the free-to-play market in February 2012.Aion launched in September 2009 and will become F2P in February in Europe, with a team of 38 Gameforge employees watching over the game in Europe. The reason for the transition was a consistent desertion of the lands of Atreia and the wish to reinvigorate the world of Aion with new adventurers.To learn more about the transition read the FAQ in the free-to-play Aion website.
