Perfect World acquires Cryptic Studios
Perfect World, the Chinese publisher behind Jade Dinasty and Forsaken World, among other free MMO games, bought Cryptic Studios from Atari.Cryptic Studios is the Californian developer of MMORPGs City of Heroes, Champions Online (already turned free-to-play) and Star Trek Online, and was working on a new game based on the Neverwinter Nights franchise.
