Popular games distribution platform Steam saw its systems hacked on Sunday, November 6, 2011. Initial reports indicated that the hack, allegedly performed by the group calling itself Fkn0wned, was limited to the forums, however, Valve CEO Gabe Newell, in a public message distributed to Steam users, indicated that user information may have been compromised.
