See the cute Lyn race above from NCsoft’s Blade & Soul? Well, the original design wasn’t all that colorful and happy. The initial plan was for the race to be a “dark” one, with characters pulling out swords from their bodies and stuff like that, according to the first broadcast of Blade & Soul TV. The idea was scrapped after the developers wanted the Lyn race to appeal both to the male and female crowd.
