World of Tanks update 7.2 released
Wargaming.net has announced the release of Update 7.2 for its free-to-play action MMO World of Tanks.Along with two new maps, the Italian Province and the American Live Oaks, the latest update enriches the game with a long-awaited branch of U.S. tank destroyers with rotating turrets. A piece of big news posted on the official website rocked the gamers of Nexon's Dungeon & Fighter today, and it is generally a positive one for almost everyone. According to this notice, on April 19th, Nexon will be removing all skill reset-related cash items from the cash item mall, which is primarily Lethe's River Water (link) in the North American server. Skill reset will then be free for all players as it will become one of the basic systems in the game.

The developers over at Funcom have released a new video, and in it some of the guys from the team talk about the freedom of choice that will be available to players regarding abilities and appearance in the upcoming MMO The Secret World. Each character will be able to choose seven active abilities and seven passive abilities from a skill wheel containing hundreds of different abilities, and which ones you choose is completely up to you. 4th edition Dungeon & Dragons is relatively well structured, so you can predict how long it takes to level up. A full campaign has 30 levels, it takes about 10 encounters per level, which means the overall length of a campaign is 300 encounters. But with my group playing only every other week for an evening, and doing about 3 encounters per evening, that results in the campaign being 100 sessions long, or about 4 years, if we ever get to the end. We draw ever closer to a day long awaited. We still haven’t gotten a release date yet for Guild Wars 2, but on April 10th you can pre-order this much anticipated MMO. The Guild Wars 2 official site has three different editions listed to be available for pre-purchase on April 10th, including a standard digital edition, a digital deluxe edition, and a physical collector’s edition, each offering more perks than the last.

Blade & Soul (CN) - Clone spotted in China
As I posted previously, Blade & Soul will be published in China by the country's biggest internet company, Tencent (link). While a secret registration process for selected gamers is going on for the China server and the Korean server preparing for its next Closed Beta phase, a Beijing-based developer released screenshots of its game earlier today.
With Tencent naming Blade & Soul as 剑灵, the developer named their revealed game similarly as well, claiming there is no copyright issue

First announced at GDC 2012 (link), Mercenary Ops is an online third person shooter developed by Epic Games China using the company's own Unreal Engine 3. The China server officially launched a couple of months back, and here is an early look of what to expect from the game. Not really an avid online shooter player myself, do bear with my noobish play. And apologies for the lag spikes, this is the first time I have encountered in years.

Normally we play D&D only every other week, but sometimes we have to shift that schedule to fit better with people's real life commitments. So exceptionally we already continued last week's adventure this week.
