Crytek just opened the applications for their first free-to-play shooter, Warface. This anticipated game will hopefully mark a new stage in the genre, offering fantastic visuals thanks to the CryEngine.Crytel also released a new video showing the classes from the game: Rifleman, Sniper, Medic and Engineer – with a nice Mech surprise in the end. It’s looking great, although we’ve seen the theme many times before.The closed beta is scheduled for 2012, but no more precise date was given.
