[Source] Oh man… Posted in NeoGAF forums, Square Enix is apparently ordering retail stores to “destroy” old copies of Final Fantasy XIV, which will see a vastly different Version 2.0 launch later this year. According to the source, there is even a “field destroy credit” of $ 16.00 (I am guessing USD) for each destroyed copy.
Why the “Oh man” at the start? You see, I have the North American, European and Japanese Collector’s Edition
