Stomped into Dust 514

Stabs has a rather brilliant analysis of Dust 514: The difference between a good player and a bad player is too big. The dirty secret of MMORPGs is that playing them isn't hard for 99% of the content. As a result the difference in performance between a veteran and a new player for doing most of the game, e.g. doing quests, leveling up, normal dungeons, isn't all that great.
