KOG buys out Elsword publisher for overseas expansion
Initially a joint venture between Brazil-based Level Up! Games and Korean MMO developer/ publisher KOG started in 2010, the company known as KOG-LU USA is now solely owned by KOG. This happened after KOG announced its purchase of Level Up!’s share of the company, signalling the Korean firm’s plans to solidify its North American expansion plans. The English game portal, known as Kill3rCombo, is currently hosting Elsword and will be hosting KOG’s new game, Fighters Club Online.
